What is your style/approach to therapy?
My counseling style stems from a strength-based approach and person-centered. I believe that one of the most important indicators of success in therapy is building a strong and trusting relationship with your therapist. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable and nonjudgmental space where you are able to speak freely and explore challenges you faced with, without feeling stigmatized. As a diverse therapist, I am able to use multiple approaches depending on your needs and often includes: solution focused mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychoeducational.
