How do you determine therapy goals with clients? What does that process look like?
Therapy goals are developed as a team. I enjoy collaborating with clients to help them succeed with their goals and what seems most practical for them.
What does a first session with you look like?
I'm going to apologize in advance. Our first session will include questions about you in order to develop a treatment plan that best fits your needs. If there are ever questions that you are not comfortable answering all you have to do is tell me.
Were there lessons in your professional or academic career that left an impression on you, and how has that informed your work today?
I've learned that everyone struggles at one point or another in their lifetime with an issue and emotional support from another human being seems to be one of the key factors that allows the person to overcome their hurdles.
