What does a first session with you look like?
We will get to know one another in our first session. I will also ask for a bit of background on what has lead you to seek counseling. In the following sessions, we will continue to get to know one another, while also identifying your goals for counseling. This can sound scary or overwheling but it literally just serves to give our sessions a direction. Also, I will be there the whole time to aid in the goal creation process and walk through it with you.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I often provide tangible, between session tasks, when clients are interested in them and want real world ways to incoproate the work they are doing in therapy. I tailor each session to each, individual client, to ensure that each person's indiviual needs are being met.
