After the first session we will begin our work on the goals you have set in that first session. I will meet you where you need to be in your therapy sessions if that is what you need, while also bringing our conversations back to those set goals. After a while you should feel like you have learned ways to manage your difficulties and are working towards making positive changes to your life. After a while we can re-evaluate your goals, set new ones, or begin transitioning you into the maintenance phase of therapy where we would meet less often or meet as needed. You can tell me what you need and we can go from there.

My treatment methods will come from what it is that you need from me. I can say that I use cognitive behavior therapy, play therapy, art therapy, etc., but I find it to be helpful setting a course of treatment together and exploring what mode of therapy will be most helpful for your situation together.
