What does a first session with you look like?

In our time together, we will build a plan based entirely off of your hopes, needs, and goals. Our sessions will be as flexible as you need them to be and I will work with you to figure out what the best treatment trajectory will be. Are you most interested in processing childhood experiences and trauma to better understand the person you are today? Are you less interested in processing the past and more interested in building yourself up to be the best person you can be? Are you most interested in both? Those are the kinds of things we will figure out together and build upon. What is most important is that you feel heard and supported in one of the most beautifully difficult self discovery journeys of your life!

What is your style/approach to therapy?

One of the most important approaches to therapy for me is authenticity and the relationship I get to build with my clients. Therapy is not something you're going to want to to return to if you don't feel heard or understood, so it is vital that we build a space that you feel the most you in! I believe that all humans exist in many different systems. You are a person made of many parts, you take on many roles, and I'm sure you wear many different hats. It is so important to acknowledge all of the parts that make you, you while we work to better understand any areas of struggle. I use a whole-person experiential approach that involves increasing your familiarity and awareness of your whole self (thoughts, feelings, physical indicators of emotion, etc). You deserve to feel whole!
