I am person-centered. Basically this means that I believe a client's relationship with the therapist is paramount to growth. I offer empathy, "unconditional positive regard", and support. Of course we will pull out tools like CBT, ACT, etc. to address specific symptoms.
My goal is to assist you in living the life that you want to live. We will take a look at the major areas of your life, then focus on what you want to change/ grow in. "A problem well-understood is a problem half solved." I will challenge you to be introspective; to identify what you want, what the obstacles are, and your next steps.
