What does a first session with you look like?
After you've completed the intake paperwork, we'll have your first session. Feel free to make yourself comfortable and be yourself. As long as you're in one stable place that is private and you're ready to give this time your undivided attention, you're good! No need to worry about trying to "say the right things". Feel free to ask me any questions you have. During the first session, I like to find out what you're looking forward to getting out of therapy sessions. Your intake already tells me why you're seeking therapy, so I like to know what's the best possible outcome you want. No pressure, if you don't know right away, we'll work together on that.
