What is your style/approach to therapy?

As an LPC I use a variety of different tools. I am DBT highly informed yet I start via assessing core beliefs using a core belief assessment. I use Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other theories based on what approach is best for you. I believe that treatment is not a one size fit all approach and as a result methods and tools vary.

What does a first session with you look like?

An initial session with me is designed to get to know you and to build a roadmap of what you would like to work on and through. Throughout our time we will address those concerns and others that may arise with the long term goal being for you to have tools to use when concerns arise path forward and for you to process past experiences.
