What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
It is a privilege to provide a safe space where the innermost thoughts, emotions, and fears of the human experience can be shared in an unfiltered way. This is a journey that has many twists and turns and if you are looking for compassionate, consistent support with a focus on growth and healing, you've made it to the right place. I specialize in the individualized care of those seeking to collaborate on changing their relationship with their anxiety, depression, and substance use. The comprehensive care of those seeking healing from the trauma of abusive relationships or divorce; informed and first-hand knowledge, treatment for police officers and women in law enforcement related fields; and holistic and faith-based treatment for the spiritually weary, or those who may be seeking God for clarity in a noisy and complex world. My therapeutic approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy as well as the recognition of maladaptive cycles. I believe that the battlefield is in the mind and that interpersonal communication and emotional regulation skills are keys to enhancing your life experience. Transparency and life experience is my superpower.
