What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

LaTasha Martin is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing in the mental health specialty since 2018. In 2016, she graduated from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL with a Master of Science in Nursing. LaTasha believes in helping patients formulate and achieve challenging goals in order to accomplish overall mental wellness. Utilizing communication skills, compassion and empathy, she is able to easily build a rapport with her patients and get them started on the road towards optimal mental health. Her main areas of focus include treating depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. With over a decade of experience as an OB nurse, she genuinely enjoys treating and providing supportive therapy to her postpartum clientele. As a wife and busy mom of three toddlers, LaTasha enjoys traveling, trying new foods and spending time with her energetic family.
