What is your style/approach to therapy?
I enjoy utilizing the Gottman method when working with couples. I use attachment theory with all my clients to help them discover their attachment styles. I utilize EMDR when providing trauma therapy. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect one another.
What does a first session with you look like?
I hope after every session, the client can take away a better understanding of their needs, wants, and boundaries. I hope the client has a better understanding of themselves in the situation they are in and focus on the things that are in their control.
