The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. Laura-Marie Tusi is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who specializes in treating anxiety, depression, mood swings, life transitions, self-esteem issues, binge-eating behaviors, and family/marriage issues. Laura-Marie has 6 years of experience in the mental health field. She completed her master's degree inClinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. In therapy, you and Laura-Marie will use different skills and techniques that are tailored specifically for you and your needs/goals. Everyone has different personalities and ways that they perceive the world, and they need to learn how to manage the different stressors that arise.Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood swings, trauma, life transitions, substance abuse, religious struggles, couples/marital issues, family relationships, myriad medical issues, and/or losses of different combinations, you and Laura-Marie will work together to achieve the goals you desire in a holistic manner.
