What does a first session with you look like?
Our first session will be used as an informational gathering session. It will be more structured than a typical session because during intake, specific questions are asked, confidentiality is discussed, and goodness of fit is explored. Thereafter, each session can be fluid, where we may have a plan to discuss one thing, but then life happens, and so the session focus will shift to your needs. When my clients leave a session with me they feel validated, accepted, understood and hopeful for the future. They leave with tools and skills that can be incorporated into their daily lives between sessions.
