What does a first session with you look like?

I most often utilize a "client-centered approach" but draw heavily from trauma-informed care utilizing EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, and Family Systems frameworks. My ultimate goal will be for you to leave each session feeling respected, capable, confident, and empowered to make changes on your own terms.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I consider it a tremendous privilege whenever someone allows me to become a part of their journey. My intention is to bring warmth, compassion, authenticity, and optimism into each session. My approach is collaborative, so I will help you to set the agenda for each session. As we work together we will discuss your current challenges & barriers to your goals.
