What does a first session with you look like?
I want to start our meeting with getting to know each other. This includes getting background information so that we can determine and decide on an appropriate treatment plan together. I want to encourage you to ask questions and get curious about the process or different treatment modalities. The first session goes by fast and it is important to you feel confident in the process. So come ready with questions!
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize different methodologies based on each clients needs and what they are hoping to get out of therapy. I am trained in EMDR and TRM which help in the reprocessing of traumatic experiences. I also like to work with DBT and CBT as they have been proven to be helpful with individuals diagnosed with depression and anxiety.
