I became a therapist because I myself was once helped by therapy and personally know the freedom and clarity that can be gained from it :) Therapy allows us to take a step away from the outside world, to reflect, to heal, and to organize. It's a true investment in yourself! I feel strongly about being able to help people move towards the life that they want to live. In therapy we work through everything that stands in the way of that vision and those desires!

I've been told I have a calm and curious personality :) If you know anything about Myers-Briggs types I am an INFJ which checks out for a therapist! Every person I meet with is so beautiful and unique and I love to hear their story. I view each person as an exciting puzzle. You ultimately come to therapy wanting to figure that puzzle out because you want to gain the life that you want--and I get to be a big part of that.

Therapy is as much about being finally being heard as it is about being challenged when you need it. After all, that's what you came to therapy for, right? Change and growth :) I think it is important as a therapist for you to feel truly validated. I also make sure that my clients leave their sessions with several takeaways. You always have something to reflect on for the coming week or something new to try. I am committed to my clients making the progress that they want!
