What does a first session with you look like?
My aim is to create a space free from judgment for you to dive into the process of self-exploration, while we understand challenges you are facing and develop alternatives together. Some sessions may focus more on deeper processing and understanding, while others may center on developing specific tools. You may begin to experience greater awareness around habitual thought patterns, feelings, and bodily sensations, leading to change and growth as you move from being trapped in automatic responses to more freedom and choice.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My orientation is rooted in a humanistic approach, with each session meeting your unique needs and goals. I incorporate a variety of practices, including mindfulness-based and somatic approaches, Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and Brainspotting to develop greater awareness into ourselves and our bodies, and transform places where we may have become stuck.
