What does a first session with you look like?
After your first session, you may feel a sense of relief, or you may feel raw and scared. Whatever you feel, know that it’s normal. Learning to open up and trust someone new is not easy. Also understand that growth isn’t linear; two steps forward and one step back. You will experience healing, growth and progress if you’re willing to use some new tools and techniques.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use a variety of treatment tools and evidenced based therapies including Short Term Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Seeking Safety and Mindfulness practices.
