What does a first session with you look like?
After sessions, the client will be able to understand their diagnosis, the medications and therapies to aid in alleviating symptoms, and how they work.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Treatment may include psychopharmacological intervention, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, Gestalt therapy, and existential therapies. Other psychotherapies may be used based on individual cases. In the future, EMDR will be provided. EMDR is eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy that involves eye movements in a specific manner to reprocess trauma and begin the healing process.
