What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including Anxiety, Career, Coping Skills, Depression, General/Undisclosed, Life Transition, Parenting, Racial Identity, Relationships, Self Esteem, Sexual Abuse, Stress, Trauma / PTSD and Women’s Issues.

What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?

As a woman of color, I understand stress-related issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma, and the nuances of spiritual and religious issues.
