The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. As a first generation immigrant, I understand the issues of culture and ethnic identity intersecting with assimilating to a new community.

Lenette is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, school issues, trauma issues, psychosis issues, and sleep/insomnia. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, comprehensive, and culturally competent mental health services to adolescents, adults, and seniors. As a PMHNP, Lenette's role is multifaceted, including educator, mental health advocate, therapist, and medication manager. Lenette completed her Post-Master s certificate in Psychiatry and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Azusa Pacific University. Lenette possesses strong clinical skills and a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families of different cultural backgrounds. In addition to medication management, she incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), brief supportive therapy, and interpersonal therapy into her practice. Life can be full of challenges. Sometimes, we need extra support to get through it. Lenette is confident that she would be able to support you to cope and rise above these challenges.
