What does a first session with you look like?
In our first session I will offer my unconditional presence to fully understand your wants and needs from counseling even if that is to explore your wants and needs. My goal is for you to find our sessions a safe space for you. Where whatever you have going on in your life can be safely felt and thought through so that you can feel the strength to live your life to your fullest potential.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
First and foremost I utilize empathic listening and validation of emotions. I also have a resource to understand the blocked emotions underlying physical ailments. I also employ a trauma resolution technique called The Completion Process that I am certified in. I also work with breathing techniques, journal writing and art making to understand nonverbal meanings for experiences.
