When working outside, the seasons, patterns, and cycles of nature also serve as guides, reminding us of our true nature and helping us to accept our experiences as part of a much larger story. In coming home to ourselves and to the earth, we can remember our wholeness and reconnect with the abundance and beauty of life.

Trained as a clinical social worker, I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, based in psychodynamic theory. Together, we can consider the social, cultural, and environmental factors that have shaped you and your unique relationship to systemic injustice and inequality. My current holistic approach draws from an ecotherapy framework and includes mindfulness-based therapy, narrative therapy, and an emphasis on self-compassion. I incorporate self-expression in the form of music, art, writing, and movement. Additionally, we can create rituals to mark milestones or significant moments of your therapeutic process. This practice can weave in ancestral knowledge from your cultural traditions or be an opportunity to create something new and meaningful for you on your journey.
