What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Leslie Stover is a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina. She is a proud graduate of Howard University's School of Social Work program with six years of professional work experience. Leslie's areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and family issues. When addressing a task or obstacle, her approach involves a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Leslie believes in being honest and clear in her approach. She has experience in helping clients improve their lives and overcome challenging moments. Leslie believes that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
