What does a first session with you look like?
I strive to welcome you into an environment that is open, safe, and comfortable. Together we will build a therapeutic relationship that will allow you to be vulnerable and honest without fear of judgement. From here, we will set collaborative and tailored goals specific to your needs. I will then introduce counseling techniques and tools that are best suited for helping you reach those goals and a more content way of life.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use a variety of approaches including Rogerian, Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to offer you the best treatment for your particular needs. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory endorsement in the State of Ohio with 19 years of experience in counseling, supervision, and administration.
