After our first meeting, we will create a plan that is therapeutic and works for you. We will also discuss the risks and benefits of medications. we will evaluate your response to treatment in two weeks. If you are doing well or we need to make adjustments in medication, then we will do that in this appointment. We will meet two weeks after the first visit, then monthly for follow ups and medication management. I will also recommend therapy if needed, however, this will be evaluated at our first meeting. You are ultimately in charge of your mental health and my job is to guide you in the right direction and make recommendations to help you improve your quality of life overall. This is a team effort.

I am primarily using evidenced based practice and motivational interviewing to evaluate and treat common issues like anxiety, depression, insomnia, panic attacks, PTSD, and ADHD. During our meeting, I will also provide solution-focused brief psychotherapy and cognitive-based therapy since it goes hand in hand with medication therapy. I will be using assessment tools such as GAD-7, PHQ9 and various other tools as needed to accurately diagnose your symptoms.
