Under Clinical Supervision

Lindsay Bartholomew, Resident, 123 is practicing under the supervision of Kenneth Fulton-Resig (Pennsylvania, LPC, PC010478) at Thriveworks Counseling & Psychiatry Bethlehem.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What does a first session with you look like?

The first session, as with all Thriveworks therapists, will involve talking through your needs and goals for therapy — whether those involve managing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or another mental health challenge. This will enable you to receive the very best care, as a personalized treatment plan will then be developed for subsequent sessions. Thriveworks helps people live happier, more fulfilling lives. Clients are guided and supported as they work through their unique mental health challenges – and, along the way, shown the life-changing power of therapy.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. As a woman who has been a client in therapy themselves, I understand the unique nature of reaching out for help when life becomes overwhelming.

What should we know about your experiences and background?

Lindsay Bartholomew is a Master's Level Clinician who is working towards gaining her licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She has 3 years of experience providing therapeutic care to children, adolescents, adults, and couples seeking help with depression/anxiety, trauma, stress, ADHD, and self-esteem issues. Lindsay has also worked in a school-based setting working with students and school faculty on a variety of school issues. Lindsay completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Penn State University and received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rosemont College. Lindsay utilizes collaborative, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused approaches to therapy. She allows sessions to be flexible, creative, and uniquely designed to meet the needs of every different individual and couple. Lindsay offers a judgment-free environment and seeks to establish a warm and caring relationship with you in order to assist in building on your strengths and better collaborate with you towards meeting your goals and being able to have a happier lifestyle.
