What does a first session with you look like?
To receive or be a part of a lot of coordinating and collaborating with us working together from a team perspective. I am always actively trying to quickly cultivate a supportive environment where success in social/emotional change of the patient is achievable. Patient can also expect establishing genuine rapport in sessions. I am especially sensitive to the patient's having varied styles and needs. I have experience in engaging the reluctant patient to facilitate openness in sharing.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I pride myself in my versatile style of counseling techniques and intervention that range from use of classic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian Theory, and mostly Solution Focused based techniques. But I also have a passion and focus on integrative and wholistic treatment care methods that combine addressing the whole person in mind body and spirit.
