What does a first session with you look like?
Depending on the goals and complexity of the issues we will be working with, after the initial session we will create a treatment plan with measurable and achievable long term and short term goals to reach your desired outcome. We will be working with various modalities to find the best fit for you. I will provide you with the resources to help you understand your body and mind better. That way we will create a United front to move away from what no longer serves you.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
As I have mentioned earlier, I am an EMDR trained professional, I employ eclectic approach to therapy, which includes MBSR techniques, CBT, DBT, and other modalities. There will be a reasonable amount of homework and self exploration in between sessions.
