What does a first session with you look like?
You can expect to feel heard and comfortable in the space we create. Over time, I hope to help motivate you to make changes that work and fit into your life.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use the Motivational Interviewing style which is used to empower you to make changes. I am trained in ACT, CBT, and DBT which help you identify unhelpful thinking patterns and responses to these patterns and learn more adaptive ways of responding. I am also trained in Brainspotting and CPT to help process trauma.
