What does a first session with you look like?
After our first session we will begin to address the issues you feel are impacting your life. Sometimes this process only takes a few sessions other times in takes a few months or so everyone's needs are different.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I use Family Systems Theory, Person-Centered and CBT. Other approaches are incorporated as needed. I use worksheets, journaling, art therapy, exercise, and relaxation techniques. I also encourage keeping doctors appointments if in medical treatment with a physician.
