What is your style/approach to therapy?

My background includes working with a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, anxiety, grief, depression, life transitions, emotional abuse, and parenting concerns. I frequently apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused Therapy and a patient-centered approach to meet the needs of the clients where they are. I understand the importance of modifying each session to meet the needs and comfortability of each individual client.

What does a first session with you look like?

After our first session you have s sense of relief and hope. You will have a ideal of how to manage your thoughts and feelings. I will provide you with resources that would be beneficial for you in between sessions. My goal is that our time together will be well spent, so that you are equipped to apply what you learn in sessions to your everyday life experience.
