What does a first session with you look like?
You will be in charge of your sessions. This means that you will decide what you want from your session and where we begin. As you lead I will give you tools that can help. If the tools that I give you do not work then we try something different. I am non-judgemental because I know what it is like to struggle with traumas and identity. I know what it is like to make mistakes. I also, know what it is like to overcome them and become a survivor.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I specialize in CBT and mostly describe my sessions as talk therapy. I give you the tools that work for you. I work with all genders, races and beliefs.
