Under Clinical Supervision

Mackenzie Mullen, Licensed Master Social Worker, 177011 is practicing under the supervision of Margarita Carson (New York, LCSW, 89043) at Resilience Lab.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

I work with folks with a wide range of concerns, such as trauma &PTS anxiety +depression, grief and relationship issues, substance use. I truly want to see and understand you, and will listen to you with tender care and support. While validating your feelings and experiences, I am committed to healing with you with unconditional support, warmth and empathy in a non judgmental atmosphere. My counseling style is warm, interactive, holistic and supportive as the client controls the pace and focus of our work. My approach combines person centered, empathic frameworks, attachment therapies and expansive trauma informed CBT and DBT. No two people are alike, and healing begins in the body and in community. We will work together in dialog and treatment/healing planning to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes great courage to get here. I honor your bravery and your decision to begin wherever you are I am dedicated to helping you when you are ready.
