What is your style/approach to therapy?

Rational Emotive Therapy (RET) is the framework I teach and counsel. RET broadly understood states that dysfunctional cognition is associated with many aspects of dysfunctional affective states and behavioral tendencies. Basically, How I think is how I feel, How I feel is how I behave. I don’t like labels nor medication.

What does a first session with you look like?

Clients can expect a structured predictable progression starting with the first session. Through teaching a theoretical framework, a foundation will be built allowing us to stay focused and on task. We will construct a philosophy and framework unique to the client from which the client can then apply and utilize for a lifelong strategy pertaining to emotional health. We will work the work.
