What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Marcia Lara is a Licensed Professional Counselor Mental Health Service Provider in Tennessee who has been practicing since 1997. She has a Master's Degree in Counseling/Psychology. Marcia uses an eclectic approach to therapy, with the goal of using the most effective form of treatment based on the client's needs. She goes by the motto, "it is less important to the client how much you know, as compared to how much you care. "� Marcia speaks fluent Spanish, and although she is not Hispanic has had many years of experience working with the Spanish speaking population. She specializes in the treatment mood and anxiety disorders. She also does her best to "not judge,"� although my goal is to provide constructive feedback to help people grow into a better version of themselves. In her spare time, Marcia enjoys making art, music, and a peaceful environment in her home.
