I offer a variety of counseling approaches including CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. As a queer woman married to a transgender man, with many years serving LGBTQ+ communities, I have a heart for marginalized communities.

Margaret Keig is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida who has 14 years of experience collaborating with adults, teens, couples, and families seeking help with depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, addictions, grief and loss, relationship issues, sexuality, and spirituality. She is a Premarital Course Provider in Orange County, FL. She has many years of experience with LGBTQ+ communities, including work in HIV/AIDS and with gender identity following the WPATH Standards of Care. Margaret completed her Bachelor of Arts at Pomona College and received her Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University. She is an AAMFT-approved supervisor and a Qualified Supervisor for MHC and MFT Interns in the state of Florida. Margaret is working on a Sex Therapy Certification at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. Margaret utilizes solution-focused, motivational interviewing, EMDR, attachment, and Gottman Couples Method approaches to therapy. She tailors her approach to meet the needs of the individual, couple, or family.Margaret will develop a nonjudgmental relationship with you and seeks to collaborate to help you to build on your strengths, reach your goals, and live the life you imagine.
