What does a first session with you look like?
I believe good therapy starts with the right fit between a therapist and client. During our first session, I would like to get to know you, and what brought you to therapy. Together, we will determine the focus and duration of your treatment. We may choose to work to reduce immediate symptoms such as anxiety, excessive worry, anger, and feelings of discontent. We may address grief, life transitions, relationship or work crises. Or we may explore longstanding but no longer adaptive behavioral, thinking, and relational patterns. Whatever your situation, you can expect to leave our sessions feeling seen, heard, and understood.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I incorporate the use of CBT, DBT, narrative, solution-focused, and mindfulness techniques in my practice. I tailor my approach to meet your individualized needs.
