What does a first session with you look like?
After you first session with me, you will begin to learn skills that you can practice in the “real world” to increase the number of “good days” and, when “bad days” sneak up, they won’t be as bad as before.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My main form of treatment is Cognitive Behavior Therapy, which is often mixed with Mindfulness skills. I really like using metaphors and visualization to help you better understand a concept or create improved emotional balance. Ultimately, my goal is to utilize several methods and tools based on your own individual needs and preferences.
