What does a first session with you look like?
My Clients will leave each session feeling contained and enriched with deeper understanding of their situation, along with the skills to manage the painful symptoms and distress. They can expect a solid, welcoming safe place to join weekly where they can bring themselves and all that blocks their journey towards selfhood and manifestation. We will have goals, and we will work towards them at your comfort level. We will also trust our process and its complexity.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Psychodynamic Theory. Grounding in the Therapeutic relationship and understand the meaning of transference and therapeutic response to old traumas. I also use CBT and DBT to enforce you with skills to manage and address your symptoms immediately and to begin to have a sense of agency. Jungian Psychotherapy where you identify your own archetypes and meaning in life.
