What does a first session with you look like?
A typical client should feel like our session was useful for their life presently. While we look at historical issues and problems; I focus a lot on helping you to find the best version of you. What are the steps to make that version a reality. What does you being and feeling happy look like?
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Each person and situation will be different. I start with the person in their environment using cultural and social supports as needed. Strengths perspective, what is it that you are good at. Mindfulness thinking, processing as well as meditation. As well as positive affirmations. My own tool I created called "Owning My Life".
