You know you better than anyone else and know what you are seeking to improve. You can expect us to spend time talking about how you have been feeling and how it has affected you and me asking questions to better understand why you may be feeling that way in our first session. The first session is about us building that initial connection and helping us plan the next steps of our therapeutic alliance. Each individual is different and by listening to you we will know how to move to forward. Whether you’re continuing or just starting your counseling journey, I very much look forward to working with you and helping you grow.

My goal is to tailor my counseling sessions for each individual to assist them to get through day-day life struggles with less stress, guilt, shame or fear. My approach to therapy can best be described as eclectic, my treatment methods and tools vary based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to improve things quickly, your experience will include Strength-based practice and include an approach that is mindfulness-based and motivational.
