What does a first session with you look like?
In the first few sessions, there will be some very specific things about you and your experiences including your health, background, relationships, symptoms, health, and goals for therapy. This will help us get off on the right track. If this is your first time in therapy, the early phase and the first few sessions can be somewhat awkward. This early phase nearly always is. The awkwardness however is usually short-lived, and we can then begin the real work towards healing.
