What does a first session with you look like?

I want my clients to feel they are in a therapeutic environment that is compassionate, empathetic, and safe. My role is to offer you insights into your experiences, advice on how to handle issues, and evidence-based treatment for mental health conditions when applicable.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

Treatment methods that are utilized can be a Cognitive-Behavioral approach which explores the relationship between a person's feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. It often focuses on identifying negative thoughts and replacing them with healthier ones. Other methods include a Humanistic, Interpersonal approach and solution-focused, setting short and long term goals.
