What does a first session with you look like?
Our sessions are a place where you will be respected, listened to and always supported. We will work on specific goals/struggles that you may have and we will focus on your strengths and work on maximizing all the gifts you already have. There is no judgment in our sessions and I want you to feel safe to be yourself and trust the therapeutic relationship. Being a human is hard enough without any additional stressors added to your life.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My treatment methods are eclectic. I am focused on using the modality that works for you as a unique individual. I draw from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Solution-Focused, Client-Centered, Humanistic and strength-based therapy. Homework and reading are not required- if you love learning, I have a lot to share. If not - we will utilize our sessions to the fullest:)
