What does a first session with you look like?
During our first meeting, I will learn about you, the traumas you have experienced, and symptoms you may be feeling. I will find out about your day to day life, and will ask you to incorporate mindfulness practices, if you do not already. Sometimes in a few weeks, sometimes longer, we will begin treating trauma memories using EMDR protocol, and bi-lateral stimulation through self tapping or eye movements.

My passion is helping adults, to heal from trauma, depression and anxiety. I specialize in work with adolescents, adults and families, to improve communication, understanding, and functioning. Working to help heal traumas is my specialty, and I use mindfulness, art, and EMDR as modalities to address past trauma.
