What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Dr. Matthew Williams is a Licensed Psychologist who sees children, adolescents, adults and the geriatric population. Dr. Williams has experience working in private practice, inpatient settings, college counseling, forensics and corrections. His specialties include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, personality disorders, dual diagnosis, grief and loss, and psychological testing as well as other specialties. Dr. Matthew Williams received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College, his Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and Masters in Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA. Dr. Williams furthered his studies and received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA as well. Dr. Williams seeks to provide therapy that educates and empowers clients to confidently confront challenges in a meaningful fashion.
