What does a first session with you look like?
I help adults gain awareness and skills to cope with hardship. I also support couples to communicate, set boundaries, and meet their needs, including those where one partner is on the spectrum. My practice is sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, polyamory, kink, and BDSM friendly. I offer space to express, explore, and learn about your whole self to find ease.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is humanistic and tender. I facilitate conversations instead of simply asking, “How does that make you feel?” drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and other modalities.
