What does a first session with you look like?
Some of the questions we may explore are: “What if you matter simply because you exist? What if past hurt/betrayal doesn’t define you? What if you allow yourself to be human - flawed and powerful - instead of Wonder Woman or Superman?” Sessions will include space to process emotions and past and present experiences, explore underlying reasons for your current patterns and difficulties, and practical tools to help you create the life you want to live.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I provide affirming and culturally responsive care for those who experience identity-based oppression. I am passionate about serving those who have experienced trauma and also specialize in empowering and supporting moms, adoptive families, and those experiencing anxiety or depression. I offer individual, family, and group teletherapy for ages 10 and up.
