What does a first session with you look like?
In our work together, I strive to help my clients feel heard, seen and valued. I always offer a resource, practical assignment or tip to support my clients in making progress toward their treatment goals. I create a safe and collaborative space for my clients to share difficult feelings, and I am nonjudgemental in my responses and approach.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I utilize CBT & DBT techniques & interventions, use Family Systems to guide my work, teach Mindfulness techniques and support my clients by using other interventions I feel are appropriate for my clients.
